Uncle Joe wants to start raising solitary bees and even wrote it in big bold letters on his holiday wish list. So off you go to your local nursery and find yourself staring blankly at the myriad of choices neatly arranged in the bee display. You don't know anything about bees. Which house do I choose? Will Joe need to buy more things? That doesn't make a great gift. "Here, Joe. Gotcha a house. I guess you'll have to run down and spend more money for things to go in it,"  You cringe as you imagine yourself apologetically shrugging your shoulders.
